Prestige Offices in Berkeley Square

Nu-Form have been awarded the contract to design and install the sprinkler system and water supplies for Cadbury’s offices in Berkeley Square, London. The building is of great historic importance, being grade II Listed and extreme care is being taken to minimise the visual impact to the interior with the selection of concealed sprinkler heads.

Carpet Racks

Carpetright has placed a £1million order with Nu-Form for sprinklers to protect their new distribution centre in Purfleet. The installation is to FM Global standards and includes carpet storage racking which requires a system which is designed to minimise the possibility of damage to sprinkler heads and pipework.

Major Chemical Plant Fire Protection Contract

Holland based Royal Nedalco have selected Nu-Form to provide a turnkey fire protection package for their new alcohol production plant in Trafford Park, Manchester. The scheme includes fully automatic water spray deluge systems to storage tanks, deluge sprinkler systems within the production facility, structure cooling, foam pourers to bunds, hydrants and portable extinguishing equipment.

Town Centre Redevelopment – Life Safety System

Pharmaceuticals Project

Glaxo Smith Kline chose Nu-Form to provide automatic foam deluge systems for their tanker bays and foam enhanced sprinklers for the drum storage building at Montrose.  The project includes three pre-packaged foam storage units and valve housings.

Marks & Spencer Choose Nu-Form Again

Further orders have been placed with Nu-Form to provide sprinkler protection to Marks & Spencer premises, including their distribution centre in Woolston, Cheshire.

Multi-Million Pound Sprinkler Contracts

Schwan’s, one of Europe’s largest food producers with brand names such as Chicago Town Pizzas has awarded Nu-Form Sprinkler contracts with an overall programme of 18 months. Projects include food processing plants in Lancashire, Yorkshire, and Northern France. All work is to FM Global requirements, and involves three cold storage warehouses with temperatures around minus 20 °C, blast freezers at minus 40 °C, and production areas with strict hygiene procedures.

Specialist Computers

SCC, have awarded Sprinkler contracts for their Birmingham site to Nu-Form. Projects include High Hazard, Roof and ‘In-Rack’ sprinklers to warehouse areas, and also to their computer repair centre and offices. The system is designed to LPC rules.

New Warehouse

Macfarlane Packaging chose Nu-Form to complete the sprinkler system and water supplies at their new distribution warehouse in Manchester. The system includes Roof and ‘In-Rack’ Sprinklers to LPC rules.

Upgrade of Sprinkler System

Kay-Metzeler, a British Vita Company have placed a further contract with Nu-form as part of their ‘Upgrade’ programme. The project includes new water supplies with sprinkler tanks of 1,000,000 litres capacity. The work is in accordance with LPC rules.

Healthcare Protection

SSL International have engaged Nu-Form to extend the existing sprinkler systems at their storage distribution centre.

Excavator Plant

JCB have appointed Nu-Form as sprinkler contractor for their Wrexham Plant. The system is to LPC rules and involves High Hazard sprinkler protection with new Pumps and Tank.

Dance Studios

London Institute of Higher Education have engaged Nu-Form to provide sprinkler protection to their newly refurbished dance studios in London.

Special Food Protection

Nutricia Liverpool world leaders in specialised clinical nutrition have placed a contract with Nu-Form to protect their new warehouse. the protection includes Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) system using k360 heads.

Chemical Plant Protection

Cognis Chemicals awarded Nu-Form the contract for a water spray deluge system to their tank farm. The system operates automatically using the latest technology in gas detection. The new installation is designed to NFPA 15.
